Submissions

The most recent PRP publication is Becoming Independent: An East Tennessee Memoir by Ruth Johnson Smiley.

Do you have a story to tell? Submissions chosen for publication will be selected by Post Rock Press editors based on quality and variety.

Guidelines:

• Send us an idea of what you want to have published: a novel, nonfiction, a short piece. a poetry collection.

• Email your manuscript as a Word document.

• Manuscripts should be in a 12-point font such as Times New Roman or Arial.

• Double space entries except poems, which can be single-spaced.

• Attach a cover page to each entry with the author’s legal name, pen name (if applicable), address, phone, and email address. The author’s name should appear at the top of each page.

• Original, unpublished high resolution camera ready photos or illustrations may accompany your entry.

• The work must be your own and in general previously unpublished.

• Post Rock Press reserves the right to accept or reject articles and to make decisions about book content.

• Authors of selected work will receive a contract outlining responsibilities.

• No manuscript will be returned.

• By submitting an entry, you agree to the Guidelines.
